| On Saturday night, we decided to go for a night ride. We sat around the fire and left about 8:30. Scott's trans broke about 9:30 3.68 miles from camp near the big bowls. In an Inland Empire Offroad Duning First, we decided to change the trans in the dunes. Jim, P.J., Walt, and Steve Tharp rode back to camp to get the spare trans and tools while John and Scott pulled out the broken one. We arrived back with the parts at 10:55, and had it running by 11:45. We were back at the fire by 12:30 with a new story to tell. |
