If they break, we fix them, then break and fix them again...

Brandy broke a front hub, and then when a replacement wasn't available Dean Carver welded it up and gusseted the cast hub (which shouldn't be possible) but it held up for the rest of the trip.
The crowd often gathered around the workbench in order to help get everybody back up and running.
Dominic lost a tire, literally, when it popped off the bead.  We reseated it on the ride, and added tubes when we got back to camp.
Pete Hagen broke a rod end on his rear suspension, which caused the A-Arm to bend and unfortunately tear the paddle sidewall, but with help from other club members and his spare parts he was up and running to drive it back to camp that afternoon.
Before heading out with Pete's parts, we noticed that P.J.'s right rear was pointing to the left due to a crack in the bearing carrier..
Scott stopped on a hill and Chuck almost got around him, leading to a bent a-arm and some frame damage.  We straightened it out in the dunes, then headed to camp for more repairs.
Scott, Dean, and Jim helped re-attach a frame upright on P.J.s car that had broken after modifications to fit in the Mendeola.
Jim had a rod end break on a five link bar on the rear suspension.  The link broke off the car, and Walt dug and found it in the sand.  We took it apart in the dunes, replaced the rod ends with even the kids helping, and duned back to camp.
